The Loft Collective photographed Hong Kong’s ‘Chill Club 2024 Best Female Artist’ Serrini for Mindly Journal’s May 2024 magazine cover.
Our second mixed media project combining photography, AI generation, and CGI software to generate the visuals.
Our goal was to capture the essence of her artistic evolution through a distinctive blend of statues and musical instruments. In contrast to her previous work, which may have exuded a sense of youthful recklessness, the imagery in this project aims to visually reflect the calmer, more mature sensibility that Serrini has embraced and expressed in her latest album ‘Rage in Peace’.
The central visual motif revolves around the gradual breaking and fragmentation of statues, serving as a metaphorical representation of Serrini shedding her former persona to uncover a more authentic self. These statues, symbolic of traditional notions of happiness, are systematically shattered over the course of the visual narrative, mirroring Serrini's own journey of personal transformation.
